If you hear a kid talks about a pentapus, chaces are the kid was in my class...but what is a PENTAPUS? very simple really, we all know octopus which has (normally) 8 tentacles hence 'octo-' . i happend to have a glove doubling as a puppet for circle time, all the puppets have names and this one has only 5 tentacles, so i named it PENTAPUS..'pente-5.' pentEpus doesn't sound as good as Pentapus..so there!
Pentapus has a cute nose though.
