As I sit here, NOT at work, I wonder how many people actually REMEMBERS why we have this day off? it appears that doesn't matter in which country you are, the kids of the latter generations are quite ignorant of the histories of their countries, we take things for granted. many other kids are simply still LIVING their histories in the making, striving for freedom, striving for rights to live, striving for the rights to simply BE....
don't get me wrong, it's nice to have a day off from work, but history, the less-fabricated history (for there is no true history) should not be forgotten
